The Spin Flip works when your opponent steps one leg up while in your guard. The two control points on the Spin Flip is the leg that is stepping up and the opposite arm or sleeve. The detail on this technique is to kick your leg up high then pull your foot back under as you reverse your opponent. If you fail to do this then they might land on your leg. Make sure you keep hold of their leg, this will help pull you up in the mounted position.
