The 5 Step Armbar

The 5 step arm bar is a basic fundamental attack that you will learn and build from as you go up in the rankings. The arm bar from the bottom guard position can be used when your opponent is off balance or when you isolate an arm. The detail on squeezing the knees together is a very important detail and will help strengthen your arm bar. Steering the head down with your leg will also help extend the arm and will make for a tighter arm bar.
